Privacy policy
This policy explains how AnyGoal, provided by the developer Malkiel, handles information when you use the app and this support website. Contact us at apptuneslabs@gmail.com.
Your habits and backups
Habit names, check-ins, notes, photos, streak history and Focus sessions are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. AnyGoal does not operate a cloud habit-history account or automatically upload this content to our servers.
When you export or share a backup or photo, you choose the destination. That destination handles the file under its own policies. Exported backup files are not encrypted by AnyGoal. Restoring a backup replaces local data after confirmation.
Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. RevenueCat validates purchase records and manages Pro access using purchase and subscription information and an app-user identifier. AnyGoal does not receive your payment-card details. Store accounts manage billing, cancellations and refunds.
Usage and reliability
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app interactions and improve the experience. Firebase Crashlytics reports crashes and errors, including stack traces, app and device information and installation identifiers. Firebase Remote Config uses installation information to supply app settings. Firebase Cloud Messaging supports notification handling and may process app version, installation identifiers and notification interaction metadata. Habit reminders and Focus completion alerts are scheduled locally on your device. These services process technical and usage information; our habit interaction events omit user-entered habit names, notes and photos.
App promotion and subscription measurement
We measure whether app promotion leads to useful app activity and paid subscriptions. On iOS, Apple AdServices can provide an attribution token and campaign information to RevenueCat for Apple Ads measurement. This standard attribution does not use the advertising identifier or require a new App Tracking Transparency request. RevenueCat also receives the pseudonymous Firebase Analytics app-instance identifier so verified purchase, trial and renewal events can be associated with the same app installation in Google Analytics. A free trial or restored Pro access is not reported by the app as a new paid purchase.
These measurement events contain technical identifiers, campaign information and subscription/product, transaction, price and currency information; they do not contain your habit names, notes, photos or Focus content. Applicable regional consent and device settings affect advertising measurement. We do not send your email or phone number for advertising conversion matching. Adding another advertising partner requires a separate integration and the applicable privacy choices.
Advertising
The free app can display ads through Google AdMob. When ads are requested, the advertising SDK can process IP-based approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Applicable consent choices and device advertising settings affect this processing. Pro removes ads from the app.
Google’s regional consent form appears only when the advertising SDK determines that consent is required. On iOS, this choice comes before Apple’s App Tracking Transparency request. AnyGoal requests Apple’s permission only if the regional choice permits personalized advertising and Apple’s permission has not already been decided. Refusing personalized advertising does not trigger another tracking request. If Apple tracking is denied or restricted, AnyGoal requests non-personalized ads under an existing applicable consent decision, or limited ads when that consent is unavailable. Limited ads disable personalization and features that require a local identifier; technical information such as IP addresses is still used to deliver ads, and Google may use storage solely to detect fraud. AnyGoal does not enable the advertising SDK’s publisher first-party identifier unless both applicable regional consent and Apple’s permission permit personalization. Declining does not limit habit features. You can change Apple’s permission in system Settings and revisit applicable regional choices through the Privacy option in AnyGoal Settings. Habit entries, notes, photos and Focus session content are not shared with advertisers.
Permissions
Photo and camera access supports the optional photo timeline. Notifications support reminders and optional Focus completion alerts. You can manage these permissions in your device’s settings. The app does not request access to your contacts or precise GPS location.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. This website has no analytics or advertising scripts. The public support website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes, including when visitors are not signed in. Older support addresses on Firebase Hosting redirect to the current pages; Firebase Hosting also processes technical request information to deliver and protect those addresses.
Storage, security and choices
App data remains on your device until you manage it, replace it with a backup or remove the app and its storage. A backup you exported remains at the destination you selected. Your device’s system backup settings may also include app data; those backups are managed by Apple or Google. Subscription and service records are retained according to the relevant provider’s policies and applicable requirements. Firebase documents that removal of Crashlytics reports and associated identifiers begins after 90 days.
SDK network communications use HTTPS/TLS. Service providers may process information in countries outside your own. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to processing or withdraw consent. Contact apptuneslabs@gmail.com with a request; we will assess it and identify the relevant records or provider. Your store controls payment and subscription records.
